Patricia Taylor Szemplinski

Patricia Taylor Szemplinski, 89, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2024, at St. Francis Hospital. Born on December 2, 1934, in Hartford, Connecticut, Pat was dedicated to her loved ones. She was an alumna of Central Connecticut State University and the University of Hartford, where she studied education. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Henry, whom she met in 4th grade at St James School in Manchester. She leaves behind three children, Tim and his spouse Suzanne, Kerry, and Brendan and his spouse Daniela. Pat took great joy in all of her grandchildren, Taylor, Reed, Marion, Ryan, and Tyler. Pat enjoyed painting, playing bridge and visiting the Connecticut shore. She loved her pets, especially all of her Boston terriers. She will be greatly missed by all of her family. A Private Family gathering will be held on Friday, February 9th at Holmes Watkins Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Manchester CT, prior to a Funeral Mass to be held at St. James Church, located at 896 Main Street, Manchester CT on February 9th, 2024 with a Burial to Follow at East Cemetery, Manchester CT 06040.
