Patricia E. Labarron

Patricia Elaine (Griswold) LaBarron of Willimantic, wife of the late Vernon W. LaBarron, passed away Friday, October 18, 2019. Pat was born October 22, 1928 at Manchester Memorial Hospital to the late Clifford C. and Bertha "Honey" (Doolittle) Griswold she graduated from Manchester High School, Class of 1947 and Morse College. She was a resident of Bolton, Manchester & Coventry for 62 years before moving to North Windham in 1990 & Willimantic. She was a bookkeeper at State Awning Co. Inc, in Hartford which was originally owned by her parents. She & her husband were part owners in the business till his death in 1988. She continued to work part time till her retirement in 2011. She is survived by her son, Edward LaBarron and his companion, Cheryl Postler & Family, Kathy LaBarron and her companion, Mike Bailey and Susan Adams and her husband, Steven & Family & their dog, Snoopy. And her pride & joy her cat, Thumbalina. Pat had a "Heart of Gold" and through the years had many very good friends who meant a lot to her. All Services for Pat (Patty Cakes) will be private. Per her wishes. Burial will be held in Quarryville Cemetery, Bolton at the convenience of her family. Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home, Manchester, is in care of her arrangements.
