Patricia Ann (Griggs) Fox, 73 of Manchester, widow of James P. Fox, died Friday February 12, 2016 at Manchester Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.
She was born in Hartford, on February 1, 1943, daughter of the late Anthony J. and Josephine (Zenesky) Griggs. She was raised in East Hartford and had been a Manchester resident for the past thirty-five years. She attended the Hart School of Music in her youth and was a spiritual person, very giving and understanding.
Pat is survived by three sons, David Griggs of Simsbury, Jason Madden of Diamond Bar, CA, and Wayne Madden of Manchester; her grandson, Michael Griggs, his wife Meghan, and their son Matthew, of Bangor, ME; her brother, Anthony J. Griggs Jr. of Salem, CT, and her half sister, Lori Wood of Munson, MA.
A visiting time for family and friends will be held Friday, Feb. 19, from 5 PM to 7 PM at the Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Manchester with Words of Remembrance at 7 PM.
