Norma H. Koepper
January 16, 1928 — January 13, 2015
Norma (Henry) Koepper, 86 of East Windsor, formerly of South
Windsor and Manchester, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January
13, 2015. Norma was born in Hartford on January 16, 1928,
daughter of the late Robert and Alice (Gilligan) Henry. She was
raised in Manchester and graduated from Manchester High School
Class of 1946. She was employed in the business office at the
former Eastern Trucking Company in East Hartford, where she met
her husband, George. They married in 1955 and raised their family in South Windsor. Prior to retiring, she was a manager in the accounts payable department of the former Ames Department Store, Rocky Hill. Norma loved spending time with family, her lifelong friends the Johnson's and she enjoyed the competitive, interactive viewing of Jeopardy with
Barb & Bert. She treasured her summer vacations on the Rhode
Island shore, a good game of scrabble and sharing her memorable
"Sing-alongs-with-Norma"! Norma is survived by a son, G. Jeffrey Koepper and his wife, Therese of South Windsor, a daughter, Kimberly K. Logan of Charlestown, RI, a sister, Shirley Twichell of Marlborough, MA, five grandchildren, Chelsea L. Jenkins; Tiffany J. Jenkins; Jacquelyn T. Hollowwa and her husband, Sean; Morgan K. Panora and her husband, Michael; Stefanie M. Koepper; several nieces, nephews and their families.
She was a very proud great grandmother to Charlie, Henry, Colby
and Vivian. Besides her parents she was predeceased by two
brothers; Robert and Donald Henry, a sister; Barbara Lindsay, a son
in law; Dennis Logan and her former husband; George C. Koepper.
The Koepper family extends their sincere gratitude to the
management and staff at Touchpoint at Chestnut Point for the
wonderful care and exceptional compassion given to Norma.
A memorial calling hour will be held Monday, Jan. 19, 2015 from
10-11 am at Holmes Funeral Home 400 Main St. Manchester,
followed by a memorial service at 11 am at the funeral home. In lieu
of flowers and memorial contributions her family suggests to please
