Nastasha Ann Zaleski Kaleta, 36 of Manchester, CT, loving wife of Michael J. Kaleta and loving mother of Madison Kaleta, died unexpectedly on Sunday, October 22, 2017 in Hartford, CT.
She was born in Royal Oak, MI on May 9, 1981, daughter of John P. Zaleski of Hamden, CT and Karen (Lorenz) Zaleski of Branford, CT. Nastasha was raised in Manchester, graduated from Hamden High School, received her undergraduate degree from St. Joseph College in West Hartford, and earned a Masters Degree in Education from the University of Connecticut. She attended St. James Church in Manchester and enjoyed spending time with her family and taking trips.
Besides her husband, daughter, and parents, Nastasha is survived by her maternal grandmother, Mary Ellen Lorenz of Killingworth, CT, two sisters and a brother, Melissa Zaleski and her husband Terry Wort of Philadelphia, PA, Jillian Zaleski of Hamden, David Zaleski of Branford, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, October 30, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. James Church, 896 Main Street, Manchester. Burial will follow in the East Cemetery in Manchester. Visiting hours for family and friends will be Sunday, October 29, from 2 PM to 4 PM at the Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Manchester.
