Nancy (Pearson) Taylor, 77, of Manchester beloved wife for 58 years of the late James S. Taylor passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 with her family at her side. She was born on November 2, 1940 in Manchester one of three children of the late Arthur and Glendolyn Pearson. Nancy was raised in Manchester, attended local schools and had been a lifelong resident. She was previously employed with Manchester Wallpaper & Paint as a Framer and later with Pratt & Whitney Aircraft until her retirement. During her working years, she was also an active member of the Manchester Republican Town Committee. Nancy is survived by her four children; James Taylor of Manchester, Kelley (Taylor) Dubois and Jeff Jenkins of Manchester, Daniel Taylor of West Minster, CA and Edie (Ammon) DeSimone of Hartford, seven wonderful grandchildren; John Taylor, Taylor Dubois, Molly Dubois, Jane Taylor, Audrey Taylor, Jordon DeSimone and Brooke DeSimone and her daughter Havana Rae DeSimone. She also leaves her brother-in-law Robert Taylor and his wife Nancy (Young) Taylor, several nieces and nephews and many beloved good friends.. In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by a sister Priscilla (Pearson) Friedman and a brother William Pearson. Nancy dedicated all of her time to her husband, kids and grandkids. To every single one of them she was the strongest role model a person could be so lucky to have. She enjoyed her second home at Sun Valley Camp in Stafford Springs, her gardening and crafts at both homes and was an avid reader, crossword puzzle, and Soduku enthusiast. She was known as the original "Gaga" to her grand-daughters in California whom she did not get to see as often as the others and missed dearly. Calling hours will be held at Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home, 400 Main St. in Manchester on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 from 10-11 am with a service to begin at 11 am.
