Michael A. Keovillay was born on March 22, 1985, at Manchester Memorial Hospital in Manchester, CT. He is survived by his mother, Keosamone, step-father, Roberto, father, Jackie and step-mother, Sone. He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Khamsao and Khamthang Keovilay and paternal grandparents, Thongsy,Somay and Phayvanh. The Keovilay Family were one of the first families, that immigrated from Laos since May 11th, 1979. Michael aka 'Goh' was raised along side his siblings, Be, Boy, Baybay, Jackyln, Rayairmosa, Julie, Peter, Amy and Rocky. Michael A. Keovillay, stated his journey in Manchester, CT in 1985, and grew up beloved by his family and friends. In 2005, he relocated to New York City to continue his journey into self discovery where he could eat all the Carvel he wanted. Four years later in 2009, Michael continued his journey with a tour of the Southeast, from Virginia, North Carolina and far down to the low country of South Carolina. In 2010, Michael took the biggest leap forward and relocated to Los Angeles, CA, where he established a joy filled life with his wife Lila and daughter Lisa. After a vigorous battle against cancer, on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Alhambra Hospital, Michael passed on peacefully surrounded by family and friends. We were able to give all our family opportunities to experience and give him comfort through virtual communication. His interests included his love and enthusiasm for cars, movies, such as his favorite, Lilo and Stitch, enjoying nature and his unconditional love for his family. All those touched by his love and kindness will forever remember Michael as a loving friend, brother, son, devoted husband and father. We would like thank everyone for joining us today, to show love and respect, for our dear Goh. Ohana means family...and family means..nobody gets left behind or forgotten. - Lilo and Stitch A Grave Side Service will be held on September 6th at East Cemetery located in Manchester, CT between 1230pm and 2pm.
