Mary R. Fliegel

Mary Rae Fliegel, 75, beloved wife, mother and sister, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2025 surrounded by her family after a long illness. She was born in New York City August 27, 1949 the second of three daughters to Raymond H. Barcomb and Shirley R. Howard Barcomb.
She graduated from Enfield High School and then entered into the employ of the Hartford Fire Insurance Company where she spent her entire working life until retirement.
Family was the center of Mary's waking hours. She was great fun to all who loved her, playing cards, watching a horror movie and sharing her delight in computer games. She also loved bingo and dancing.
She is very much mourned by her daughter Suzanne Fliegel, their pup Precious, by her sisters, Diedra Gosline and Cathleen Barcomb and her brother-in-law Kye, her Aunt JoAnn and Patrick Clark, her best friend Tommy, as well her nieces and nephews and cousins.Mary, in addition will be missed by the many friends and acquaintances whom she warmly embraced throughout her life.There will be a private gathering with family at a later date.
