Jane (Hutchinson) Noble, 90, of Manchester, wife of the late Bruce Weir Noble, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, January 10, 2015 with her family at her side. Jane was born on September 9, 1924 in Medford, MA, daughter of the late Edward B. and Alice (Cole) Hutchinson. She had been a resident of Manchester for over 60 years. Prior to her retirement in 1982 Jane was employed for over 14 years at Manchester Memorial Hospital as a Medical Transcriptionist. She was a longtime member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Manchester and she enjoyed her monthly luncheons with the ladies of the East Hartford Rotary Club. Jane is survived by her two daughters; Suzanne Howroyd Couture and her husband Stephen Couture of Manchester and Judith Anne Gordon and her husband, Thomas Gordon of Martinsville, VA, five grandchildren; Benjamin Howroyd and his wife Mary and their daughter, Abby of Jackson, NJ, Matthew Howroyd and his wife, Marissa and their children, Lucy and Tommy of Frankfurt, IL, Daniel Gordon of Martinsville, VA, Daniel Couture of West Hartford and Sarah Couture of Vernon and her two nephews; Duke and Robert Hutchinson. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her son-in-law, Steven Howroyd. A memorial service will be celebrated on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 41 Park St. Manchester. There are no calling hours.
