Obituary

Mark A. D'Alessandro, was born on February 19, 1967, in Manchester, Connecticut, and passed away on June 17, 2026, in Windsor, Connecticut, at the age of 59 surrounded by the love of his family.

Mark was born and raised in Manchester Connecticut, where attended school and went on to build his life. Mark had many interests that fit him perfectly. He loved watching wrestling a pastime that matched his appreciation for intensity, drama, and the kind of entertainment that does not pretend to be subtle. Similar to his love for music which was showcased by his extensive and diverse CD collection. He also enjoyed working on his cars including RC cars, which suited his practical mind and his ability to figure out how things worked, or at least how to persuade them to work. In recent years he did a lot of fishing, which gave him a chance to enjoy the outdoors and connect with his past.

Mark was a partner, a son, a brother, a father, a pappy and a man whose family ties were an important part of his life. He is survived by his fiance, Valerie Lyons. He also leaves behind his two loving daughters, Elizabeth D'Alessandro (Daniel) and Lisa D'Alessandro (Jonathan). His most beloved role was that of Pappy to his grandson Hunter. He leaves his sister, Sherry D'Alessandro and brother, David A. D'Alessandro Jr., nieces and nephews Alesia, Russell, Samuel, David III and Chérie all who had a special place in Mark's heart. Mark is predeceased by his father David A. D'Alessandro Sr., mother Sharon (Hubbard) D'Alessandro and his brother-in-law Geri Langlois. Mark’s family meant a great deal to him, and he meant a great deal to them. They carry forward a part of his story and his spirit.

If life handed Mark a challenge, he would meet it with determination and a way to figure it out. That combination made him unforgettable. His most recent challenge being a brave fight with Pancreatic Cancer. His passing marks the end of a life that was lived with character, humor, and heart. Mark did not move through the world quietly, and he would not have wanted to. He left behind memories that are lively, warm, and just a little bit mischievous, which is exactly how Mark would want to be remembered.
