Mark Cerniglia

Mark Francis Cerniglia, 58, of Manchester, beloved husband of Alice (Owens) Cerniglia, died peacefully Sunday July 27, 2014 at Manchester Memorial Hospital with his family at his side. Mark was born January 29, 1956 in Schenectady, NY., son of the late Benjamin & Patricia (Lucy) Cerniglia and has been a resident of Manchester for more than 14 years. Mark was a faithful Christian who loved to practice his Catholic religion. He was an exceptional self taught artist who could paint and carve, he was also a novelist who wrote science-fiction books. In addition to his loving wife he is survived by his son Ben Cerniglia of Manchester and many close friends and co-workers. Funeral services will be held in Georgia. Burial will be private in Arizona. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to the Visiting Nurse and Health Services, 8 Keynote Dr., Vernon, CT. 06066.
