Marjorie J. Tomlinson

Marjorie J. Tomlinson, 95 1/2, of Manchester, CT passed away January 25, 2020, she was born August 21, 1924 in Manchester, to the late Frank and Ines Sonego. She attended Manchester schools and graduated in 1942. Marjorie married the love of her life George Tomlinson in 1951 and they had four daughters: Susan Lessard, Debra Dolan, Linda Tomlinson and Marybeth Wisnieski. She was a great artist and painted in oils, acrylic and water color, and she excelled at Portraiture. Marjorie loved her first job as a print designer for Cheney Mills. Over the course of her career she worked for various companies in Manchester, including Iona Manufacturing and Multi Circuits. As a young girl Marjorie loved to dance and would go out with girlfriends to Hartford, CT and dance the night away. Our mom will best be remembered by us for her wonderful cooking. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 29, 2020 from 10:00-11:00am at Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home, 400 Main St., Manchester, CT.
