Marion R. Bombeto

Marion R. (Meyer) Bombeto, 88, formerly of Manchester, widow of Joseph F. Bombeto, passed away peacefully on Thursday April 5, 2018 at her residence in Glastonbury.

Marion was born in Boston, MA November 14, 1929. She was raised on Cape Cod, Massachusetts and came to Manchester in 1957, moving to Glastonbury three years ago. She had been employed by the Phoenix Mutual Life Insurance Company in Hartford and the former Cage Company in Manchester before retiring in 1995. Marion was a parishioner of St. Bridget Church and a former member of the church choir.

She is survived by two sons, David Bombeto and his wife Beth of Manchester, and Richard Bombeto of Manchester, two grandchildren, Mariah Lynn Bombeto and Kurt Andrews Bombeto, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Russell Meyer.

Visiting hours will be held Monday, April 9, from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, April 10, at 10:00 AM at St. Theresa of Calcutta Parish's St. Bridget Church, 70 Main Street, Manchester. Burial will be private in St. James Cemetery in Manchester.
