Margaret "Peggy" (Toohey) Mann, 95, of Manchester, beloved wife of the late Oscar H. Mann died peacefully on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 after an extended illness. Peggy was born on January 24, 1923 in Hartford daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Minnock) Toohey.
She is survived by her three children; Sandra Morano of Windsor, Patricia Stevenson of Vernon and William Mann of Barefoot Bay, FL, six grandchildren including; Kelli Morano and her husband Frank Tozzoli and Michael Morano, four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews including her special niece Marilyn Jacobson whom the family would like to thank for her comfort and support over the past few months. In addition to her husband and parents Peggy was predeceased by her brother Bernard Toohey and two sisters; Mary Jacobson and Helen Dick. The family would like to thank Peggy's neighbors for their compassion, support and care over the years.
Private services and burial in St. James Cemetery in Manchester were private. There were no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurse & Health Services Inc.
