Margaret A Cormier

Margaret A. Cormier, 99, of Glastonbury, passed away peacefully November 25, 2018. She was born in Thompsonville, CT on January 21, 1919, to the late Alphee and Evangeline (Gaudet) Cormier. Margaret grew up in Thompsonville and resided in Connecticut her entire life. She loved watching her Boston Red Sox and UConn Womens Basketball teams. She enjoyed traveling often with her dearest friends whenever she could get the chance. Margaret leaves behind a nephew, John Vigeant and his wife Andrea of Charlotte, NC; a niece, Joan Vigeant and her partner Shirley Dupona of Ormond Beach, FL; and two grand-nephews Marc Vigeant and his wife Wendy and his daughter Sofia as well as Michael Vigeant and his wife Heather and their two children Grace and Austin. She was also survived by many wonderful friends and loving family members. A graveside service for Margaret will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 10:00 am at Rose Hill Memorial Park, 580 Elm Street, Rocky Hill. There will be no calling hours. Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home, Manchester, is in care of her arrangements. Memorial donations in Margarets name may be made to St. Edmund Campion Parish, East Hartford.
