Marc. P. Desmarais, 53, of Hudson, NH, formerly of Manchester, CT, died unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, August 2, 2018.
Marc was born in Portsmouth, VA on November 1, 1964, son of the late Richard A. Desmarais and the late Jacqueline (Nartowicz) Morehouse. He was raised in Manchester, attended local schools, and graduated from Manchester High School with the Class of 1986. He moved to New Hampshire fifteen years ago and was a regional manager for Town Fair Tire, a position he also held while in Connecticut.
In his free time he enjoyed traveling and golfing. Marc was also a sports fan who had a special live for hockey, baseball, and was an avid Red Sox fan. He had a taste for the finer things in life and loved his family.
He is survived by his sister and brother, Denise L. Edberg and her husband Robert of Washington, NH, and Eric M. Desmarais of Manchester, CT; a niece and two nephews, Jordin and Madison Edberg, and Hunter Desmarais; his aunt, Virginia Thulen and her partner Walter Jabs of Springfield, VT; two cousins, Brenda Soriano of Sandy Hook, CT and Phillip Thulen Jr. of Windsor, CT, and his lifelong friend Joan Humphrey-Mcnahon of Manchester, CT.
A visiting hour for family and friends will be held on Saturday, Sept. 1, from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Manchester with a Mass of Resurrection at 10:00 AM at St. James Church, 896 Main Street, Manchester. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield.
