Mabel L. Cole

Mabel L. (Person) Cole, 85, lifelong resident of Manchester, wife of the late Randall G. Cole, died Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Manchester Memorial Hospital.
Mabel was born in Manchester on June 30, 1929, daughter of Wilhelm and Anna (Elofson) Person and graduated from Manchester High School Class of 1947. Prior to retiring in the mid 1980's she was a legal secretary for the office of Atty. Wesley Gryk for over twenty years. Mabel was a long time member of the Manchester Senior Center and she shared her love of quilting with many cherished friends.
She is survived by two sons, Randall B. Cole and his wife Mary of Granby, and Bradley G. Cole and his wife Eileen of Concord, NH; three grandsons, Eric, Ethan, and Andrew Cole; her brother, William Person of Vernon, and brother-in-law, George Wrixon of Glastonbury; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Mabel was predeceased by her daughter, Laurie A. Cole, and her sisters Ruth, Elna, Elin and Barbara.
Services will be private at Mabel's request. Burial will be in the East Cemetery in Manchester. The Holmes Funeral Home in Manchester has care of arrangements.
