Louisa M. (Erismann) Pouliot, 48, of Manchester, beloved wife of 28 years to David A. Pouliot passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 23, 2016. Louisa was born on February 28, 1967 in Hartford, daughter of David and Elena (DeFelice) Erismann of Newport, MN. She has been a resident of Manchester for over 35 years and she attended St. Bartholomew Church. Louisa was an avid fan of the New York Rangers and she was a season ticketholder of the Hartford Wolfpack. She enjoyed and looked forward to taking her nephew to the games throughout the year. Louisa was an avid gardener and spent many hours tending to her spring flowers at her home. In addition to her husband and parents, Louisa is survived by her sister; Kristina Erismann of Newport, MN, her loving nephew and godson; Brandon Lopez of Manchester, many cousins, other family members, many wonderful friends and her beloved dogs; Roxanne & Duke. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at the Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main St. Manchester from 5-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. Bartholomew Church, 45 Ludlow Road, Manchester. Everyone is asked to go directly to the church. Burial will follow in West Cemetery, Manchester. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation 103 Vision Way, Bloomfield, CT 06002.
