Louis F. 'Lou' Donner Iv

Louis F. Donner IV, also known by family and friends as Lou or Frankie, 59, loving husband for over thirty-two years of Nancy L. (Starkweather) Donner, died Saturday, September 26, 2015 at his home in Manchester, CT after a brief illness.
Lou was born in Jacksonville, FL on June 7, 1956, son of Sonia (Santiago) Allen of Essex, CT and the late Louis F. Donner III, and had been a Manchester resident for the past twenty-seven years. He was a pipefitter for U.A. Local #51 and was a devoted employee. Lou was also an avid golfer and a hunting and fishing enthusiast.
Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by three children, Jeremiah N. Donner of San Diego, CA, Joshua I. Donner and his wife Rebekah of Manchester, and Jaime L. Donner of Manchester; five siblings, Donald R. Donner and his wife Sarah of East Haddam, CT, Venetta L. Narducci and her husband Gregory of Edgewater, FL, Garrett W. Donner of Moodus, CT, Denise Allen and her partner Susan of Meriden, CT, and Kelly J. Miller-Dixon and her husband Alex of Fort Worth, TX; his sister-in-law Beth Davis and her husband James of Manchester, and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial visiting hours are Thursday, October 1, from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Manchester with a memorial service to follow at 7:00 PM. Burial will be Friday at 1:00 PM in the East Cemetery in Manchester. Memorial contributions may be made to the John A. DeQuattro Community Cancer Center (ECHN), 71 Haynes Street, Manchester, CT 06040.
