Loretta Grabow

Loretta Grabow, 91, of Manchester beloved wife of 62 years to the late Kenneth C. Grabow, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown. Loretta was born in Manhattan, NY, April 6, 1926 daughter of the late Elizabeth (Peters) Smith and has resided in Manchester since 1960. She was a communicant of St. Bartholomew Church. Loretta is survived by her loving family, daughter Michele LeVasseur and her husband Jim of Portland, two sons Kenneth Grabow and his wife Debbi of Manchester and Keith Grabow and his wife Laurie of Stamford, eight grandchildren Denise Welch, Wendy Par and her husband Dave, Jeffrey Welch and his wife Rene, Brianna Howell and her husband Ben, Ben Grabow, Alex Grabow, Vance Grabow, Melinda Saternis and her husband Mike, seven great-grandchildren Ryan, Megan, Jordan, Olivia, Kate, Hendrix and Harper and nephew Tom Guiry. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her sister Betty Guiry. Calling hours will be held Monday, July 31, 2017 from 5-8 PM at Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main St., Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at 10 AM at St. Bartholomew Church, 45 Ludlow Rd., Manchester. (Everyone is asked to please go directly to church.)
