Lois K. Warrender , 89, of Manchester, CT peacefully entered into eternal life on November 5, 2017.
Born in East Hartford, CT on February 7, 1928 to John and Jennie (Maks) Krompegal, Lois had been a resident of Manchester since 1930. During her life she was known for her devotion to family and friends, a love of animals, great talent for interior decorating, a deep knowledge of antiques and a passion for travel. Lois was a very accomplished piano player who played by ear. Also a source of great enjoyment for many years was to sing with the Concordia Lutheran Church choir.
Lois is survived by her loving family, daughter Cheryl W. Mello and son-in-law Alan D. Mello of Washington, CT and Galveston Island, TX, son Richard Warrender of Manchester, CT, sister Linda Burdick and husband Tom of Coventry, CT, granddaughter Adria Stapleton and husband Chris of Dover, MA, grandsons Alan D. Mello Jr. and wife Stephanie of Westport, CT and Andrew D. Mello of San Francisco, CA. Lois (grand Nana) will be greatly missed by her four great- grandchildren, Alan, Audrey, Adam, and Emmett.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 11:00a.m. at Concordia Lutheran Church, 40 Pitkin Street, Manchester, CT. Interment will be private in the Church Memorial Garden. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Concordia Lutheran Church or to the Benign Essential Blepharospasm Research Foundation, P>O> Box 12468, Beaumont, TX 77726.
