Linda R. Shelton

Linda R. Shelton, 63, of Manchester, loving wife of over 45 years to Willie Bee Shelton Jr. passed away on Monday, April 4, 2016 with her husband at her side at home. She was born on September 1, 1952 in Hartford daughter of the late Raymond H. Jerome and Bertha A. (Anderson) Jerome. Linda was employed for over 10 years as a Surgical Assistant for Doctors Prindiville, Perrachio & Trabitz. After her working career she became Special NuNu and Nanny to many special babies for many years. Linda was a longtime member of the Full Gospel Interdenominational Church in Manchester. Linda enjoyed cooking and crafting but most of all spending time with her family. Besides her husband Willie, Linda is survived by her three children; Stacey A. Howe and her husband; Harry Howe of Fort Mill, SC, Chad E. Shelton and his daughter; Ebony Shelton of New Britain and Tracey L. Anderson and her husband; Maurice A. Anderson III and their children; Brianna, Ivy, Grace and Ethan all of Buford, GA. She also leaves her three sisters; Gloria Michaud and her husband; Gerald of Van Buren, ME, June Ahearn of Plantsville and Susan Shaw and her husband; Joseph of Hartford, her brother; Raymond Jerome of Rocky Hill, a special friend; Deidre Davy and many nieces, nephews and their families. In addition to her parents Linda was predeceased by a sister; Lois Klemanski. Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 at Watkins Funeral Home, 142 East Center St. Manchester from 10 am to 12 noon with a service at 12 noon.
