Linda Ann Richards

Linda Ann Richards of Manchester, passed away on Wednesday June 8, 2022 at Hartford Hospital. She was born January 3, 1948 in Bemidji MN to the late Thurston and Ethel (Russell) Stauty. She resided most of her life in Manchester. Linda graduated from Manchester High School in 1966 . On December 6, 1969 she married the love of her life the late Paul Richards. They had twenty five years of marriage before he passed. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She worked for over 20 years in the laundry at Manchester Manor before she retired in 2014. She liked to crochet and knit but her favorite hobby was shopping, the better the bargain the better the day. Linda was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Paul Richards, and her sister, Joanne Stevens, her brothers in-law, Walter Anderson and Roger Stevens. She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Brandriff and her husband Bryan of Eastford, and her dearly loved grandson, Hunter Brandriff of Eastford, her sister Beverly Anderson of East Hartford, as well as her niece Susan Sack and her husband Gerald of Bloomfield, her nephew William Anderson and his wife Jennifer of Tolland, her niece Sandi Burns of Berlin, and her niece Nichole Spencer and her wife Jodi Spencer. She is survived by several grand nieces and nephews and one great niece. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 10am at Homes-Watkins Funeral Home located at 400 Main Street in Manchester. Burial will follow at East Cemetery in Manchester. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
