Linda Jane Hogaboom

Linda Jane (Moriarty) Hogaboom, 63, of Manchester, loving wife of 29 years of Rick Hogaboom, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, after a courageous and valiant two year battle with cancer. Linda was born on January 16, 1954 in Hartford beloved daughter of the late Cal L. Moriarty and Jane (Ross) Moriarty-Clunn. She was raised in Manchester, attended local schools and was a 1972 graduate of MHS. She earned her Associate degree from the Morse School of Business. Linda was employed for over 15 years as an Executive Secretary for P.G.A. Sales & Trading and more recently as a Sales Clerk for Walgreens in Manchester until retiring in 2016 due to her health.

In addition to her beloved Rick, she is survived by her two cherished daughters; Jane Moriarty and her fianc Jason Coen of Manchester and Erin Hogaboom and her fianc Jose Gonzalez of Manchester whom Linda treated, nurtured and loved like son for many years, her two special grandchildren; Jaiden Luis Gonzalez and Vanessa Michelle Gonzalez both of Manchester and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a time of visitation and remembrances at Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home, 400 Main St., in Manchester on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 5-7 pm.
