Lee Ann Keefe

Lee Ann Keefe, 69, of South Windsor, Connecticut passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. Born on October 22, 1954 in Rockville, Lee was the daughter of the late Martin Griffin and Beryl (Wilkens) Griffin.
Lee was a devoted employee of the Manchester Country Club for over 30 years and served as Banquet Manager. Lee enjoyed painting and arts and crafts. She always loved her cats and dogs and really enjoyed birds and kept the backyard bird feeders full. Lee loved the beach and her dream was to eventually live close to the beach year round. Her greatest love and joy in life were her Grandkids, Nora and Will. She would always go out of her way to put a smile on their faces. Lee always put others before herself and was always kind to friends and strangers alike.
Lee leaves behind her devoted husband of 45 years, James Keefe. Her beloved daughter, Lindsay Festa of Longmeadow and her children, Nora and Will. Her beloved son, Casey Keefe of South Windsor. She is also survived by her sister, Nancy Griffin, from Mississippi and her very best friend, Sue Higgins Prior of Maine.
Lee was predeceased by her brother, Stuart Griffin.
Calling hours will take place on Monday, September 23, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Manchester, CT. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Lee's name to the World Wide Fund for Nature or the National Audubon Society.
