Lawrence D. Nelson

Lawrence D. "Larry" Nelson, 52, of Manchester, beloved son of Gene and Janet (McCue) Nelson of Manchester passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2015 with his family by his side. Larry was born on November 6, 1962 in Hartford and had resided in Manchester for most of his life. He was employed as a cabinet maker and floor installer. Larry enjoyed camping, fishing and he was an avid hunter. In addition to his parents he is survived by his brother and two sisters; Kenneth Nelson, Tricia Wallace and Michelle Zajac Nelson all of Manchester, three nephews; Dustin and Mark Krar and Paul Zajac, his niece, Nicole Zajac and all their families, his best friend Jimmy Carter and his faithful dog Skip. He was predeceased by his brother, Derrick Nelson. Calling hours will be held on Monday, October 5, 2015 from 6-8 pm at Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main St. Manchester.
