Laurence Eugene Heavisides

Laurence Eugene Heavisides, 90, passed peacefully on May 5, 2024 at Vernon Manor, surrounded by his family. Laurence was born in Lebanon, New Hampshire and raised in Manchester, Connecticut. Laurence was a well known hairdresser in Tolland County and operated three generations of beauty salons with his father, Albert and son, Michael. Laurence was a loving husband and father who enjoyed music, golf, camping, and his many dear friends. He is predeceased by his first wife, Patricia who was the love of his life since the 6th grade, his son Michael, his brother Robert, and his second wife, Hope. Laurence is survived by his son Steven (Alice), his daughter Elizabeth (Rick), and three nieces and one nephew, Tricia, Chelsea, Taylor, and Joel. The family would like to thank everyone at Vernon Manor for their wonderful care throughout the years. Funeral services are being handled by Holmes Watkins Funeral Home, 400 Main St, Manchester, CT 06040. A private burial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
