Kimberly M. Strano

Kimberly M. (Marotti) Strano, 55, of Manchester, wife of Ronald Strano, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018. She was born on November 23, 1962, in Hartford, to the late Dominick and Carol (Foster) Marotti. Kim is a lifelong resident of Manchester, attended local schools, and was a graduate of Manchester High School.

Kim was motivated to helping others. Not just members of her family, but anyone that might be in need. She was employed by the State of Connecticut as a Developmental Service Worker where she aided and guided individuals with special needs. That was her passion in life and the dedication she showed was truly remarkable. Her family also played an important role in Kim's life. She loved her family so much, especially her grandchildren. Kim was an outstanding cook. Her talent in the kitchen, along with her love for her family, made for great gatherings. Holidays were the most important to her because it gave everyone the chance to get together and enjoy her delicious meals.

In addition to her husband, Kim is survived by her two sons Seth Strano and Joshua Strano; her daughter Christina Strano; her two wonderful grandchildren Javean and Teagan; two brothers Larry Marotti and Bill Foster; sister-in-law Deborah Marotti; maternal grandmother Anne Mainville, several nieces, nephews and cousins and her best friends Cynthia, Daryl and Tracie. Kim was predeceased by her parents Dominick and Carol, as well as her two brothers Kenneth and Nicholas.

A time of visitation for Kim will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 from 4-7 pm at Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Manchester, followed by a brief Celebration of Life Service to begin at 7pm.
