Kathryn Cynthia Prior

Kathryn Cynthia Prior born 1/2/39 to James and Francis Prior of Manchester, CT passed away peacefully December 10, 2022. She was known as Cindy to all her friends and family. She graduated from Manchester High School in 1957 and went on to graduate from UCONN with a degree in Education. Cindy played every sport there was available to women at the time and won many awards. She retired after 32 years of teaching and coaching at Torrington High School. In 1988 Cindy helped start American Ladders & Scaffolds, Inc. with her brother Jim and nephews Jamie and Kevin. She is survived by her niece Mary Kozicki and nephews Jamie Prior and his wife Tanya; Kevin Prior and his wife Christina; John Prior and his wife Amy; 9 great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Francis Prior; two brothers Tom and Jim Prior and nephew Daniel Prior. She loved sports, gardening, spending time in her beautiful yard with family. Private arrangements are being made for family only. May she Rest In Peace.
