Kathleen Peterman-Kerr
November 6, 1946 — February 26, 2018
Kathleen Peterman-Kerr, daughter of the late Lorraine E. (Smith) and Barney T. Peterman, passed away February 26, 2018.
She was born and raised in Manchester, attended local schools, graduated from Manchester High School in 1964, and then graduated from Endicott College in Beverly, MA. She worked as a bookkeeper in Manchester and Florida. Kathie spent many years working in the family business, Peterman Building Company, with her father and brother and also at The Manchester Transmission Shop with her husband. She built and remodeled homes with her husband, Malcolm, in Manchester, Tolland and Florida. Kathie enjoyed traveling, swimming and gardening.
She leaves her husband, Malcolm Kerr of Vernon, her sister, Donna Forde and her husband Bruce of Manchester, two caring nieces and their families, Kristen Tinney, her husband John, and their son Ryan of Manchester, and Mindy Burke, her husband Paul, and their children Sarah, Jenna, and Kyle of Manchester. Kathie had many close friends who stayed in touch during her brief illness, Susan, Harry, Janet, Sharon and Kenny, DJ and Dot , Todd, Jamie, Rob, Pat, and Tennie and her husband Karl . Besides her parents, she was predeceased recently by her brother, Barney T. "Bud" Peterman Jr.
