Karen Troy

Karen Troy, 65 of Manchester, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2022, surrounded by her family, after a six-year battle with cancer. Karen was born February 11, 1957, in Hartford to Rena Kerwin and the late James H. Benton. She was a 1975 graduate of Manchester High School. She married John Troy on April 24, 1987 in Manchester, where she resided most of her life. Karen lived life to the fullest, displaying love and warmth to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Mrs. Troy is survived by her husband John Troy; two sons, Colin Troy and Timothy Troy; daughter, Haley Troy; sister, Susan Donovan and her husband Michael; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Adrienne Waks of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute for her loving care. Funeral services will be private.
