Judie A. (Vincent)"Oslund" Fontaine, 73, of Bolton and formerly of Manchester, beloved wife of Jules A. Fontaine, died peacefully, Thursday April 16, 2015 at Hartford Hospital with her family at her side. She was born August 31, 1941 in Manchester, daughter of the late Elmer & Evelyn (Rudin) Vincent, she attended local schools and was a 1959 Graduate of Manchester High School. Judie was a member of "Jesus Has Called Me Ministry" for over 10 years, she enjoyed hunting and fishing with her husband, country music, dancing and watching the birds from her front window. Prior to her retirement Judie was a supervisor at Colt Firearms in Hartford for over 25 years. In addition to her husband she is survived by two daughters, Barbara Oslund and her companion Ben Marquis of New Britain, Deb Palmer and her husband Fred of Manchester, she was a loving grandmother of four, James Fiore and his wife Sheila of East Hartford, Jesse Oslund of Ellington, Chris Sapolis and Samantha Sapolis both of Manchester and two great grandchildren Dominic Fiore and Kaylee Oslund and her faithful dog "Snowy". Other survivors include her brother Elmer Vincent of Alabama, three sisters, Charlotte "Charlie" Haman of Kensington, Nancy Fells of Norwich Donna Gendron of Alabama and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday April 18, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Watkins Funeral Home, 142 East Center St., Manchester. Burial will be in the East Cemetery in Manchester. Visitation will be held Saturday from 9:30 AM until the time of the service.
