Joyce E. Baronousky

Joyce Lucille Eagleson Baronousky, of Vernon, passed away peacefully September 1, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by the love of her life of 28 years, Melvin Eagleson, as well as her beloved second husband Gerard Baronousky.
Joyce was born in Hartford to Jeanette (LaFleur) and Weston King. She was raised in Manchester, attended local schools, and graduated from Manchester High School Class of 1955.
She is survived by her two daughters, Debra Cooper of Manchester as well as her son-in-law Richard of Vernon, and Lisa Vassilopoulos and son-in-law Arthur of Ellington. She is also survived by her cherished granddaughters and great-grandchildren: Chelsea and Ryan Lowe of Ellington and their children Lucas, Gavin, and Madelyn; Melanie and Matt Hlasny of Enfield and their children Nora and Maverick; and Stephanie Cooper and Matt Brintle, their son Max, and soon-to-be second child of Canton.
In addition to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, Joyce leaves behind her sister Audrey Sullivan of Moodus as well as nieces, nephews, and numerous other family and friends.
Joyce loved gardening, reading, spending time with her pets and spending summers on Cape Cod.
A private family service will be held to celebrate Joyce's life. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Joyce's memory to the Connecticut Humane Society or the American Heart Association.
