Joseph R. Nowak Jr

Joseph R. "Joe" Nowak Jr., 59, of Tolland, beloved and dedicated husband for 35 years of Pamela (Brown) Nowak, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 after a short illness. Joe was born on November 7, 1957 in Manchester son of Mary (Sander) Nowak of Manchester and the late Joseph R. Nowak Sr. He was raised in Manchester, attended local schools and was a 1975 graduate of East Catholic High School. Joe was a proud veteran serving his country in the US. Marine Corps. He was employed for over 36 years in construction, most recently working as a Field Supervisor for Zlotnick Construction of Mansfield. Joe was an avid fan of the New England Patriots & Boston Red Sox. In addition to his wife Pam and his mother Mary, he leaves his loving son Jake Nowak of Tolland, his four sisters; Deby Bishop and husband David of Moodus, Kim Ross of Saucier, MS, Terrie Waitt and husband John of Bolton and Robin Nowak of Manchester, his two brothers; Stanley Nowak and wife Michelle of Mansfield and Steven Nowak of Manchester, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many wonderful friends.
