Jose Davila

Jose Davila, 71 of New Britain, CT, passed away March 22, 2021. He was born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, to Jesus Davila and Carmen Cruz. He will be remembered as a loving and caring father, husband, and friend to everyone he met. Jose married Marie Maldonado in New Britain, CT where they lived and raised their son Jeremiah, born in 1981 and daughter Candice, born in 1982. He then remarried Doris Para Cassiani, gained two daughters Karen and Nelsy, and raised their daughter Genesis, born in 2000, also in New Britain, CT. Jose is survived by wife Doris; son: Jeremiah and wife Ashley; daughters: Candice Castillo and husband Bill, Genesis Marie Davila-Para, Karen Kelsy, and Nelsy Parra; sister: Carmen Rivas and husband Caesar, and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday April 8th, at Faith Tabernacle 110 Utopia Road, Manchester, CT with Pastor Kent Elliott officiating. Calling hours will be from 9:00 - 10:00am with services beginning promptly at 10:00am. The family will hold private burial services following the funeral services.
