He was born August 1, 1948 in Chelmsford, MA., to the late Bernard R. Sr. and Shirley (DeLong) McHugh.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years Bonnie (Gagnon) McHugh, his daughter Stephanie F. McHugh of Manchester; His brothers Brian and his wife Theresa of Tolland, David McHugh of TN, Bruce and his wife Nancy of Ellington, and their families. He was predeceased by his sister Linda McHugh, and his brother Bernard Jr.
