April 2, 1952 — November 20, 2017

John W. Hubbard, 65, of Manchester, beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend died unexpectedly at home on Monday, November 20, 2017. John was raised in Manchester, attended local schools and was a graduate of Howell Cheney Technical High School. John started his career as an installer for Cox Cable, moved into sales with Times Fiber, and eventually found 'a home' with Amphenol Broadband Solutions, where he recently celebrated 16 years as their Regional Director of Sales. John had a heart of gold and loved spending time with family, friends and his beloved dog, Molly. He was the hit at every gathering, making everyone laugh with his 'unfiltered' sense of humor. For relaxation he enjoyed riding his Harley by the shore, playing guitar and working in his yard. John is survived by two daughters; Mandy Murray and her husband Scott of Colchester and their children; Alyssa and her fianc Daniel Scarlett, Bradley, Kyrstin, Cameron and Madison, his daughter Julie Hillhouse and her husband Kenneth of Uncasville and their children; Morgan and her husband Jason, Nicholas, and Carlie and her fianc Josh McDade. John also leaves his three sisters; Carol St. Germain and her husband Yvon, Judy Anderson and her husband Lenny and Joni Hubbard and her fianc Danny Cyr, his nieces and nephews; Stacey, Crissy, Danielle, Jackie, Cherie, Andre, Larissa, Macie and Michael and many close and wonderful friends. It was John's wishes to be cremated with no services or calling hours. A Private Family burial will be in East Cemetery, Manchester. Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home has care of the arrangements.
