Johanna Althea Bruder

Johanna "Jo" Althea (Mello) Bruder, 79, of Manchester, loving wife of 56 years of Charles "Chuck" Bruder passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 15, 2016 after an extended illness. Jo was born on December 11, 1937 in Boston, MA daughter of the late Arthur and Estelle (Kulesco) Mello. She was raised in the Boston area, attended local schools and was a graduate of Trade High School for Girls, Class of 1956. Jo loved antiques, going to flea markets, thrift shopping and being a homemaker. In addition to her husband Chuck, Jo leaves her two children; Johanna "JoJo' Bruder Roy of Essex, VT and Arthur "Art" Bruder of Manchester, five beloved grandchildren; Ryan Roy and girlfriend Emma Vieira of Burlington, VT, Ethan Roy and wife Erin of Laveen, AZ, Colin Roy of Manchester, Chase Bruder U.S.M.C. and wife Mikaela DeBari of Havelock, NC and Jenna Bruder of Storrs, one great-grandson Roman Roy of Burlington, VT and her former son-in-law Michael Roy of Essex, VT. Family and friends are welcome to attend a time of visitation at Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main St. Manchester on Friday, December 23, 2016 from 4-7 pm with a prayer service to be held at 6:30 pm.
