Joanne Papile, 79, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 5, 2023.
Joanne was born in Everett, MA, to Rinaldo and Josephine (Josie) Papile on April 16, 1943. She obtained a GED and graduated from Morse School of Business and Manchester Community College. She pursued a career in computer programming before retiring from Travelers Insurance.
Joanne was an avid and talented crafter, especially with scrapbooking, crocheting, and knitting. She enjoyed making special personalized greeting cards for friends and family. She was a fan of rock music and was proud of the significant number of concerts she had attended.
Joanne will be greatly missed by her children, Antoinette Yitchinsky of Dudley, MA and Anthony Yitchinsky of Tooele, UT; her grandchildren Timothy Brunson and his wife Kate, David Hastings, and Ashley Hastings; her great-grandchildren Charlie, Jack, and Vivian; her brother John Papile of Cary, NC; her nieces Jan, and Lyn; and her nephew John (Jay).
Joanne was predeceased by her parents and her daughter, Lisa Bouchard.
Calling hours will be Thursday, April 20, 2023 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Manchester CT.
Joanne was a devoted animal lover, and a five-time cancer survivor. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Joannes memory may be made to an animal charity or a cancer charity of your choice.
