Jeannette Margaret Weir Waytashek

Jeannette Margaret Waytashek (Weir), age 93, of Manchester, CT passed away peacefully, December 9, 2020, after an unfortunate fall on the ice. Jeannette was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was blessed with having a "favorite" only grandson and many nieces and nephews who meant the world to her. Her life revolved around her family and friends. Jeannette was born in Manchester, August 26, 1927, and graduated from Manchester High School. She worked at Travelers Insurance Company for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Bertrand and her husband, Jim and their son, Thomas, many nieces and nephews, and a very special friend, MaryLou Prentice of Glastonbury. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mable Weir, her brothers William, Robert, Joseph, and Walter and her sisters, Edna (Hilinski), Colleen (Phelps), Marjory (Bars), and Ethel (Van Wyck). There will be no services due to Covid. She will be buried with her parents in Manchester East Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the donors favorite charity.
