Jean A. Wright

Jean A. Wright, 74 of Manchester, wife of the late William H. Wright and mother of the late William J. Wright, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Jean was born December 29, 1939 in Bristol, daughter of the late J. Fred and Mildred (Palmer) Anderson. She lived in the Hartford area and has resided in Manchester for the past 30 years. Jean was employed for 25 years at Mt. Sinai Hospital Hartford, retiring as supervisor in the Radiology Transcription Department. Her interests included playing setback and bingo at the Manchester Elks. Jean is survived by her brother, Lawrence J. Anderson Sr. and his wife, Joan of Farmington, nephews and nieces, Lawrence J. Anderson Jr., Julia Schmelter, Charles Anderson, Joanne Soboslai and a brother-in-law, Robert Wright and his wife, Donna, formerly of West Hartford. Also surviving is her best buddy, Linda; Jim Fracchia and his wife, Gail and Alison J. Fracchia. In addition to her husband, son and parents, she was predeceased by her companion, Joseph Fracchia Jr. Memorial calling hours will be Friday, September 19, 2014 from 4-7 pm at Watkins Funeral Home 142 East Center Street Manchester. A graveside inurnment service will be held Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 10 am in Section 29 at Rose Hill Memorial Park 580 Elm Street Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
