Jean C Johnson

Jean C. Johnson, 94, of Glastonbury, Connecticut, beloved wife of the late William R. Johnson Sr., passed away peacefully on December 16th, 2022. Jean was born May 6th, 1928 in Newton, Massachusetts, the only child of the late Franklin and Marion Cary, and has resided in Glastonbury since 1950.
She was a graduate of Wethersfield High School Class of 1946 and Dean Jr. College Class of 1948.
She is survived by her three children: Cary Michael Johnson and his wife Dorothy of Niantic; Sandra Kowalsky and her husband James of Colchester; and William R. Johnson Jr. of Manchester; five granddaughters: Kerry, Jennifer (Rich), Valerie (Ross), Stephanie (Brian) and Nicole; and seven great grandchildren: Kristiana, Evan, Mackenzie, Elizabeth, Stanley, William and Michalina, and several nieces. Lastly, she is survived by her faithful cat, Lily.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 22nd, at 11am at Buckingham Congregational Church, Glastonbury, Connecticut. Burial will follow in Buckingham Cemetery, on church grounds.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to John A. DeQuattro Cancer Center, 71A Haynes Street, Manchester, Connecticut or the CT Humane Society, 701 Russell Road, Newington, Connecticut. Please mention Jean's name in the memo.
