Janet Minicucci

Janet Schaub Minicucci "Jan" 89, of Bolton, CT died peacefully in her sleep at Suffield House in Suffield, CT on December 24,2021. Jan was born in Manchester, CT on July 13,1932 daughter of the late James and Emma (Wilson) Schaub. She was raised in Manchester and graduated from Manchester High School. She married the love of her life Charles J. Miniccucci on February 14,1953 and settled in Bolton, CT. Jan along with her husband opened their company M and M Oil in 1953. She was one of the founding members of the Bolton Regional Lions Club. She was loving and kind and beyond giving. Jan was consistently visited and brought coffee and various treats by her daughters, which had her lighting up with joy every time. Jan is survived by her four children and their spouses, Donna Ohlhof and her husband Bruce of Bolton, Barbara Gouchoe and her husband Bernie of Bolton, Charles Minicucci 3rd and his wife Charlene of Andover, and James Minicucci and his wife Kathy of Columbia. Eight grandchildren Jenna, Justin, Belgin, Kyle, Samantha, Stephanie, Ashley and Jeylan.19 great-grandchildren Taylor, Brittany, Donovan, Austin, DeAnna, Trenton, Blake, Aubrey, Brody, Braelyn, Mason, Ryan, Jameson, Lilia, Sawyer, Maverick, Cannon, and two more on the way! She also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, and many great friends. Besides her parents Janet was predeceased by her husband Charles Minicucci, her daughter-in -law Rachel (Stevenson) Minicucci and her sister Virginia Anderson. Drive thru calling hours will be held at the Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Manchester, CT from 3:00 pm-5:00pm on Thursday, December 30, 2021.
