James M. Roach, Jr.

James M. Roach, Jr, 61, passed away at his home in Dexter, ME on Tuesday, March 28. He was the son of James and Jeannette (Botteron) Roach of Manchester, CT.

Jim was born on November 3, 1955 in Opelika, AL and was raised in Vernon, CT. He attended Rockville High School where he lettered in both football and baseball. He was a member of Ironworkers Local15.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by three children, Amy Roach of Manchester, CT, Kyle Roach and Michael Roach, both of Dexter, ME; three brothers, Mark Roach of Dexter, ME, John Roach of Moscow, ID, Tom Roach of Pittsburgh, PA, and his sister, Kathy Jordan of Lebanon, CT. He is also survived by his longtime partner, Jane Connor of Dexter, ME and her children, Matt Connor and Jill Connor, also of Dexter; five grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visiting hours for family and friends are Friday, April 7, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Manchester. A graveside service will follow in St. James Cemetery, 360 Broad Street, Manchester.
