James S. "Limey" Langton, 68, of Vernon, formerly of Manchester, loving husband of 46 years to Jacqueline "Jackie" (LeBlanc) Langton died unexpectedly on April 19, 2015 while vacationing in Vancouver, Washington. Jim was born on September 24, 1946 in Wallasey Mersey Side, England, son of the late Samuel and Angela Langton. He had been a resident of Manchester for over 30 years before moving to Vernon in 2013. Jim was a Master Plumber for over 50 years and had worked for several different companies in the area. He was an avid Liverpool football fan and his sense of humor and sarcasm will be greatly missed. Jim was the rock of his family and was always there for all of them with his love and support. Besides his wife Jackie, he leaves his daughter, Sharon Langton and her children; Kendall, Cory and Breonna, his son, Kevin Langton and his children; Sierra, Bailey and Isabella and his sister, Moira Langton of March Cambs, England. In addition to his parents Jim was predeceased by his sister, Pauline Mason. Memorial calling hours will be held on Monday, May 4, 2015 from 4-7 pm at Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main St. Manchester.
