Henry H. Stephenson Iv

Henry H. Stephenson IV, 69, of Chicopee MA passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2015 after a courageous battle with leukemia. Hank was born on February 4, 1946 in Springfield MA. Son of the late Henry and Marion Stephenson, Hank grew up in Manchester, CT. He graduated from Central Connecticut State University. A former history teacher and longtime history buff, Hank worked at Schaller Tire in Bloomfield for over 30 years. A major Yankees fan, Hank coached many little league and soccer teams, including teams his sons played on over the years. Hank loved a good laugh and an even better card game. He is predeceased by his wife Diane Bellefleur Stephenson and sister Maryanne Lembo. He leaves behind his loving wife Kathleen Stephenson, his sister Joan Cook, and his sons Hank Jr., David, and Joseph. He also leaves behind step children Jennifer Dawson, Lisa Davenport, Joseph Davenport, and granddaughters Knya Boyle and Isabell Dawson. Hank's extended Bellefleur family meant the world to him; he leaves behind Alec, Leah Roy, Warren Jr., Judy Monaco, Betty Marquis, Kathy Luntta, David and their families. Family and friends may join the family at Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Manchester CT from 5 PM to 8 PM on Friday, August 28. 2015. Funeral services will be held Saturday August 29, 2015 at 9:15 AM at the funeral home. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Bartholomew Church, 45 Ludlow Rd., Manchester. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Manchester. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 825 Brook St., I-91 Tech. Ctr., Rocky Hill, CT. 06067-3045.
