Henry R. Dekker Jr

Henry R. "Hank" Dekker Jr., 34 of Manchester, beloved son of Cheryl (Weir) Dekker of Manchester and Henry R. Dekker of South Windsor, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at his home.
Henry was born in Manchester on June 15, 1983. He was raised in Meriden, graduated from Platt High School, and returned to Manchester in 2013.
With his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Kevin Dekker, his wife Sarah, and their children Abigail and Brady of Vernon, and Andrew Dekker of South Windsor. He also leaves his paternal grandparents, Henry S. and Roberta M. Dekker of Vernon, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Henry was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Walter E. and Thelma K. Weir. Also left behind are his beloved canine companions Molly and Bailey.
Visiting hours for family and friends are Tuesday May 29 from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Manchester. A prayer service will follow at 7 PM. Burial will be private in the West Cemetery in Manchester.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104-2396.
