Helen Sisco

Helen Roberson Sisco, a resident of Manchester for 65 years, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, March 13, 2021. She was recently able to enjoy celebrating her 99th birthday with family. Helen was born in Greenwich, NY on February 23, 1922, one of five children of the late Charles and Marion (Langdon) Roberson. She was raised in Greenwich, and then moved to Albany, NY to attend Albany Business College. She worked for many years as an Executive Secretary in various companies. Helen and her husband, Donald, married in Albany in 1953. They moved to Manchester, CT in 1955, where they raised their three children. They were long time, active members of St. Marys Episcopal Church. In addition to her parents, Helen was predeceased by her husband of over 60 years, Donald; their son Stephen Allen; and her siblings Florence, William, Louise, and Marjorie. She is survived by her children, Janet LeSaffre and her husband Stephen of Wakefield, MA, and Brian Sisco and his wife Brenda of Ellington, CT. Helen also leaves five grandchildren, Carolyn, Stephanie, and Andrea LeSaffre of Wakefield, and Kathryn and Kevin Sisco of Ellington. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
