Helen H. Partridge

Helen (Harmon) Partridge, 86, longtime resident of Manchester, wife of the late John A. Partridge, died Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Hartford Hospital.
Helen was born in Boston, MA on March 14, 1932. She moved to Manchester at a young age, graduated from Manchester High School with the Class of 1951, and was a longtime member of Center Congregational Church. Prior to retiring Helen worked in the accounting office at the corporate headquarters in East Hartford of the former Mott's Supermarkets.
She was a passionate UCONN women's basketball fan, even having traveled with the team to Europe. She also enjoyed having lunch every day at the Manchester Senior Citizens Center, and loved attending the monthly dinners at the Second Congregational Church in Coventry.
She leaves behind many friends, especially her two close Manchester friends, Marie Munson and Richard Kurtz.
A private graveside service will be held at the family lot in the East Cemetery. The Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home in Manchester has care of the arrangements.
