Harold L. Hoar Jr

Harold L. "JR" Hoar Jr., 58, lifelong resident of Bolton and loving husband for thirty four years of Loretta G. (Connors) Hoar, died Saturday February 14, 2015 at a local convalescent home after a long illness.
JR was born in Manchester on April 8, 1956, son of Isabel L. (Hughes) Hoar of Bolton and the late Harold L. Hoar Sr., and graduated from Bolton High School. He was a certified tire technician, working in the Hartford area, most recently with GCR Tire Centers in South Windsor for the past thirteen years. He also enjoyed working in the family business, Harold & Sons.
With his wife and mother, JR is survived by three children, Jennifer K. Nichols, her husband Philip, and their son Trevor of East Hartford, Harold L. "Jay" Hoar III, his wife Tina, and their children Victoria, Cynthia, Cameron, JJ, Mason, and Colton of Davenport, FL, and Joseph A. Hoar of Bolton; two brothers, Andrew Hoar and his wife Carol, and Harry Hoar and his wife Pat, both of Bolton; numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, Feb. 18, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Manchester followed by Words of Remembrance to be shared at 7:00 PM.
